April 2019 005So we won this two-night stay in an incrediboy posh gaff called The Barn, a holiday house whose interior was designed by Kate Moss, no less. And a reet good job she made of it.

Had lunch in The Swan in Southrop, meeting Lucie's parents and sister for the first time. Spring really seems much further on here than back at home in draughty Cleethorpes. Grr...

The pictures tell the story of The Barn. It was lovely and also not worth trying to describe to anybody back at school, apart from Mary perhaps, because I wouldn't be believed, or if I was believed, summarily dismissed as a boaster. It's that sort of place
