Back in the summer, some official body (the Port Authority, perhaps) decided to restrict access to the sea wall. Almost certainly, this action was connected to the proposed salmon farm, which lookls likely to go ahead. A huge concrete block, impossible to move without heavy machinery, appeared in front of the closed gate. It rather brought the grafitti-ing to a stop.

But not for long. Within a few days, an adjacent section of the steel fence was unbolted; it now lies, horizontal, in thegrass. No attempt has been made to repair the fence.
