You needed to have booked in order to enter the museum, so that let me off. Instead, I had a walk round the village for a couple of hours. I concluded it's nothing like Grimsby.

The pub opposite looked very inviting, it being Fuller's, but I never got to see whether they had ESB on draught.  Instead we had coffee and cake in Cassandra's Cup.

The pub woud have been there in Jane Austen's day and I tried to imagine her propping up the public bar, entertaining villagers with exerpts from her latest book.. Maybe not.
